Oklahoma City National Memorial
The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum was created to honor those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever by the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Civic Center Music Hall
The Oklahoma City Civic Center Music Hall combines historic elegance with cutting edge technology. While the building is dressed in classic limestone, stainless steel, and authentic art deco chandeliers, the electronics and acoustics are state of the art. Oklahoma City Philharmonic
The Oklahoma City Philharmonic has been around in its current state since 1988 when Joel Levine and a number of city leaders formed it. Before then, the Oklahoma Symphony Orchestra was widely known and popular for decades. The Philharmonic now has performances from September to May with a Classical and Pops concert series as well as the Discovery Family Concert Series. Ballet Oklahoma

Ford Center
Home to the Home to the Oklahoma City Blazers (Central Hockey League), Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz (arenafootball2), and since serving as a temporary home for the New Orleans Hornets (2005-06 and 2006-07 NBA Seasons), Ford Center has become the official home to the Oklahoma City Thunder (beginning with the 2008-09 NBA season). Lake Hefner
Lake Hefner has 18 miles of shoreline and 2,500 surface acres. Lake Hefner has a 10 mile bicycle paved trail that circles the lake. Premier sailing spot, and also provides for great kite surfing and wind surfing. There are several restaurants on the west side of the lake overlooking the water.
Myriad Botanical Gardens
This indoor and outdoor garden oasis features a spring-fed lake stocked with Japanese koi and native Oklahoma fish. Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory recalls paradise with palms, orchids, exotic plants, butterflies, lizards, and a cascading waterfall. White Water Bay Water Park

Omniplex
The Omniplex center has more than 350 hands-on science exhibits to see, and if you have little ones (under 6) there is an area with all sorts of hands-on exhibits just for them. The Air and Space museum has one of the most complete collections of this type of memorabilia in the southwest. There are several cultural and art galleries, not to mention the botanical gardens. You can also visit the Planetarium or the Omnidome, Oklahoma's only Imax-style theatre.
